POSITION SYNOPSIS:

The purpose of the Coordinator Human Resources role is to provide transactional support to the HR business partnership team. This role coordinates activities across the full employee lifecycle, interprets data to drive positive people outcomes and ensures proper governance of HR processes and systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Serious contenders will have Degree / BTECH / National Diploma in Human Resources with a minimum of 2 years Generalist HR knowledge and/or experience.
  • Basic understanding of fundamental HR processes and frameworks
  • Knowledge of the relevant national workplace legislation applicable to an operation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organise and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to extract, analyse and interpret complex information and data to identify trends and solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Skilled in using SAP and/or SuccessFactors will be advantageous

 

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provides tactical support to a variety of HR processes including talent and succession planning, recruitment, workforce planning, Organisation design and reward and benefits
  • Has a detailed understanding of the terms and conditions contained in industrial instruments and applies this when transacting people hires and movements.
  • Maintains HR information portals, including uploading new or updated policies, procedures, templates & standards.
  • Support leaders to execute effective onboarding and offboarding processes that result in a positive employee experience.
  • Monitor the status of mandatory HR training programs and provides leaders with information to drive completion.
  • Coordinate employee perception surveys, including distribution, analysis of results and providing information to leaders to assist in developing effective strategies in response to outcomes.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs at an operation, including letter generation, provision of awards, auditing and governance.
  • Conducts regular reviews of master data in the HRIS to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR processes and systems to ensure correct governance and cost control, e.g., absence management, overpayments and flexible work arrangements.
  • Extract, analyses and presents HR reports and data to meet operational requirements.
  • Supports leaders with recruitment activities such as interviews, assessment centers and HRIS processing.
  • Provide Business Partner support to certain departmental areas.
