QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12
  • Minimum of 3 years projects administration experience in an engineering and/or projects environment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Technical acumen and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Understanding of document control processes
  • Analytical/Problem solving ability
  • Strong IT skills in MS office including outlook, excel and word.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Data organization skills
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Creating purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders for imports and exports.
  • Assist with export logistic documentation.
  • Expedite delivery of buyout items from suppliers to fabricators
  • Meeting minutes and follow-ups on action items.
  • Setup and maintain project folder.
  • Filing of documentation per project.
  • Updating and maintaining project VDR.
  • Co-ordination and collection of documents from relevant disciplines as per VDR and ensuring timeous submission through document controller.
  • Co-ordination and facilitation of documents workflow and ensure documents status to be closed.
  • Travel arrangements for site personnel and projects team when required.
  • Coordination with the respective Project Managers and other staff to ensure correctness of the records.
  • Archiving contract/project documents
  • Regular periodic backup (electronic copy) of project documents
  • Other duties as requested from time to time.
